Statoil ready to strenghten cooperation with Murmansk region

Statoil representatives last week presented its regional company strategy to local business circles.

During the company presentation, Statoil expressed special interest in oil and gas cooperation in the Barents Sea and in the development of an LNG plant outside the town of Vidyaevo, BarentsObserver reported. The company last August signed a memorandum of understanding with the Murmansk county administration. The deal includes cooperation within culture, education, social life and business.
