Ahead of the September ENV Council (18th) and ENVI Committee vote (23rd), the Coalition for Higher Ambition, an alliance of European business, major city networks and regional governments and civil society organisations, has written to European leaders to voice support a 2040 net domestic emission reduction target of at least 90% and an ambitious Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).

Bellona Europa, together with the signatories, urges European leaders to agree on ambitious and science-aligned amendments to the European Climate Law.
