As a Policy Assistant at Bellona, Behnam works on industrial decarbonisation with a special focus on CO2 capture and storage. He identifies as an environmentalist and has gathered experience in industrial and climate policy at organisations such as the German Society for International Cooperation and the European Parliament at the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. Behnam holds a Master's degree in European Public Policy, Institutions & Governance from Maastricht University, as well as two Bachelor's in Political Science & European Economic Studies and in Event & Media Management.
