Enrico joined Bellona Europa in June 2026 as a Policy Advisor. Originally from Brazil, he lived in different EU countries throughout his career, working across policy landscapes and geographies. With experience in hard-to-abate and energy-intensive industries, he is responsible for developing an ambitious climate policy framework at the EU level, specifically to support the deployment of CCS technologies at scale and maintain the ETS as the EU's flagship decarbonisation mechanism. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP, Brazil), with an exchange semester at Sciences Po Paris (France), and two Master's degrees, in Global Political Economy from Leiden University (the Netherlands) and in European Policies and Public Administration from KU Leuven (Belgium).
