Policy Advisor, Public Finance for Decarbonisation
Mathilde joined Bellona Europa in January 2026, supporting the team's policy, advocacy and communications efforts. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Politics from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Bergen. As part of the Sustainable Markets team, she focuses on public funding and policy frameworks for industrial decarbonisation, with a particular emphasis on how European financial instruments can accelerate the green transition of energy-intensive industries. Her work covers key EU climate and funding mechanisms, including the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), the Innovation Fund, and the Industrial Decarbonisation Bank.
