Raquel Torres Prol is Global Head of Communication at Bellona. She is responsible for strengthening Bellona’s global visibility and strategic positioning and connecting communication teams across all offices. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of a coherent global communication strategy and contributes to organisational cohesion as a member of the Global Management Team. Raquel brings more than a decade of experience in strategic communication, public relations and outreach, stakeholder engagement and European affairs. She joins Bellona from the EEA and Norway Grants (EØS-midlene), where she worked to strengthen institutional visibility, partnerships and digital communication across Europe. She has also held leadership roles in sustainability and entrepreneurship organisations, including serving as Vice President of JEUNE (Young Entrepreneurs Organisation of the European Union). She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the College of Europe and a Master’s degree in Education. Raquel is also certified in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and in Digital Marketing from the London Business School (LBS).
