Bellona is primarily funded by philanthropic organisations, including the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), the European Climate Foundation (ECF), and the ClimateWorks Foundation. We also undertake projects funded by the European Union and its Horizon grants, the Research Council of Norway, and EEA Grants. Occasionally, we receive funding from private entities, but only under the same conditions of independence and publicly available outcomes as with philanthropic funding. One such funding strand currently comes from FedEx at Bellona Europa.
