Aurelia has spent most of her career focusing on EU law and its implementation in the Member States, in areas as wide as social security, culture, copyright, packaging, and waste. Getting to grips with complex issues, understanding their impact on stakeholders, and making these accessible to a wider audience is what she loves to spend her time on. As a French and Dutch national living in Brussels, she generally appreciates and welcomes jokes about her two homelands. At Bellona Europa, Aurelia leads the public affairs work and the office's operations, and serves as deputy to the Director. She is in charge of ensuring the full potential of our impact on policy-making is reached by streamlining both outreach efforts and communications.
