Before joining Bellona as Office Manager, Françoise had built an international executive career in higher education and culture, particularly in engineering education in Brussels, Paris, and Amsterdam. She served as Executive Director of the World Federation of Engineering Education, Secretary General of the European Society for Engineering Education, and held various honorific positions as Member of the Governing Board or Vice-President of major international engineering education in Europe, USA and China. After a well-deserved break to pursue her passions—home design, theater, writing, fine arts, and music— Françoise began organising events for ING Bank and managing programs for StartLab Brussels. Françoise holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Philology, a Post-Master's in Literature Education, an International Certificate in Cooperation with Developing Countries, and a Post-Master's in Sociology and Work Psychology/Ergonomics, all from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
