Norwegians stand for oil free zones
Approximately 58% of population of Norway stand for oil free zones in the north of the country and about 42% of the population are against it.
These figures are the result of a social survey, initiated by environmental organisation WWF and executed by Visendi A/S company. 1117 people aged from16 till 80 were interviewed all over Norway.
According to WWF, the new Norwegian government must take the results of the research into consideration, NTV reported. The environmental organisation WWF considers that oil free zones should be located on Lofoten islands, near Tromse and near Finnmark county in the North of Norway.
