Horizontal windmill operates in France

The first horizontal windmill operates on a roof on a habitable building in France.

The tool does not look like a usual windmill. It was produced by Dutch “Window wall’ company, which established the windmill on the roof of the building. Its capacity is 9,000 kWt /hour. This windmill can provide electricity to supply two 20-flats buildings.

The cost of the equipment is 70,000 euros. This equipment is expected to make a revolution in French sector of renewable energy application. Before the horizontal windmill installation, French population was against old windmills’ operation, as “they spoil the landscape”, ITAR TASS reported. Almost the whole territory of France is perspective for wind energy application.
