Transneft started survey work at Indiga
The Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has started up a close survey work in the Kharyaga-Indiga pipeline project.
The work now takes place near the settlement of Indiga in the Nenets Autonomous region, where a new oil terminal and port should be constructed, BarentsObserver reported. The future pipeline will be 467 km long and stretch from the Timano-Pechora province, where 30 million tons of oil to be extracted annually. The capacity of the future pipeline is expected to be 12 million tons per year. The approximate cost of the project is 2,187 billion USD.
