The station makes a basis for organization of environmentally clean routes of public transport in Berlin. Liquid (LH2) and gas (CGH2) hydrogen can be used as a fuel for cars and busses at this fuel station, Integrum-Techno reported.
The second hydrogen fuel station opening illustrates German attention to development of public transport, operation on hydrogen. This fuel station plays an important role in development of Clean Energy Partnership and widens the perspectives further hydrogen application in Berlin. The first hydrogen fuel station was opened in Berlin in November, 2004. According to participants of the project, sufficient results have been achieved since that time. They plan to analyze experience of client, workers and operators and introduce this analyses to public in 2007.
